Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy in Domme. Since a young age, her dental doctors parents and teacher mom supported her love of drama and theater. This passion that overshadowed her initial wish to become a the first primatologist. The rise of her as an actress in her early years was rapid and accompanied by her early successes. In 1998 after her studies, she participated in an French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning acting professionally. Tautou was born into the context of a Catholic home and went to church, even though she attended school within the Institut Catholique de Paris. As well as her acting profession she also pursued a modelling career. It is her turn to be the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting profession she also has an interest in photography. The actress recently showed some photos at the Arles Film Festival with the name Superficial. In her photographs, she is mainly focused on celebrities and the spotlight. The camera's focus is towards journalists who scrutinized her during her rise to the heights of fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's very first major performance, in the role of Amelie Poulain's lead actor in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain, brought the actress international fame. Amelie received international acclai film box office successes and was acclaimed at awards galas across the world. It's the most-grossing French film to be released in the United States. The popularity of the film has led to Tautou being cast in a range of roles, including British dramas as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
