Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach as well as trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only woman ever to win in the CrossFit Games two times. She finished second both in the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and media celebrity. The media acclaim she earned came from her becoming the first woman who won the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie, her parents, as well as her siblings, were born and brought up at Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from an early age. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as at 2021). She is 5'7 tall and she weighs 67 kilograms. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She was successful in her initial competitions, placing with the top 10. But she did not achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. Due to her outstanding performance, she was able to claim the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie is the only female who has ever won consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. Additionally, in 2014, she won a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie has gained fame for her athletic abilities has been featured in commercials for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among other. The self-titled Youtube page has over 1,000 users, posting the videos of her family and trips along with training and diet plans.
